Police Dilimema, HELP!?
It all started with my brother’s girlfriend calling my sister, stirring up this scheme to get money from my ex boyfriend. Once I got wind of it, although he’s my ex, I still would hate to see him get swindled. Well, you see I left my boyfriend for another woman, and he’s devastated so he’s desperate to do anything to break us up. The scheme was that, Tracy and my sister (Toylin) was supposed to break us up, if my ex-boyfriend was to give them 10k. He almost went for it, and I intercepted, the scheme never worked out. So I called Tracy to let her know I knew what was up, and I cursed her out but never threatened her, and my girlfriend called and told her were to go with that crap. Now, Tracy is using the system and telling all these lies how we called her and harassed her and she went to the police made a report, and lied and said we threatened her, and said all kinds of stuff, which is totally untrue. The police want my girlfriend and me to come

Wittnesses... definately, definately wittnesses. If you have people that can testify for you that you never did what they said that you did, then the burden of proof is on them. If this ever goes to court (though it probably won't) they'd have a wail of a time trying to prove you harrassed them and everything else. I'm no lawyer, but you should get one, this sounds like they're taking the heat off them for this failed attempt at extortion.
Once letters start coming from a lawyer (this may incur some cost to you), they might drop it, knowing they don't have any proof, and in fact, you have proof of extortion and blackmail (that's what it seems to me), use your ex-boyfriend as a wittness to their scheme.
Definately seek out legal counsel, it will help, and may stop this before it gets out of hand, and you go to jail or get fined, or whatever happens.
wow -- write a movie script now --
keep going with this story -- might be a blockbuster.
SOUNDS LIKE YOU BETTER GO TELL THE TRUTH
Mind your own business
omg, my brain hurts after reading that.
go make a movie out of it liek someone else said
You are a cop's worst nightmare.
Wow! Lets Be Ians!!
Sounds like some mess that I am in. Good luck, b/c when people get on the stand and lie, there is really nothing you can do about it, unless they get caught in a lie!
Me and my girlfriend are going through the same thing!
Good Luck :-)~
Let me know what happens! sjakb1@yahoo.com
My GF actually went to jail over all the lies that were getting told on us!
Well what you have to do is to go to the Police Department and tell the Police Officer(s) the truth and everything that happened then if you do that then you will not be in trouble at all and the other person(s) will be the ones getting in trouble not you.
i think you need to go the the police and tell them the truth and then just back off. when they see that you are not doing anything they (the police) will get off your back. but if they start calling you and harassing you do not hesitate to call the police. oh, yeah, if you can get your ex to corroborate your story even better. he might be sad that he lost you but i would think he would be more upset at being swindled.
...The truth will set you free!
I think I saw this on Law&Order a couple years ago, or was it CSI, not sure but in both of them you got shot and killed, be careful.
