Why do you think they wont tell me?
My 15 month old daughter had £800 taken from a bank account for someone to take this money they will have had to have the book as it was a savings account and needed to be signed for with the account book. There was no explaination f me losing the book as if someone found it they could not get my signature as it was not in the book.
The only explaination was when i threw my ex out who lived with me he had my bank account book too and sure he has seen my signature. I think not sure but he got his wife to go to the bank take the money out and sign it as me.
This was reported to police. I have just found out by the police it has been in court this week and the person got community service and ordered to pay it back but the police wont tell me who it was that has been charged as i am bound over with a conditional disharge order, and they say it is for my own good.
Do they have to tell me who did it?
Why would they hide the fact of who it is if i didnt know them?
ANY ADVICE?
Answer:
I don't think they have to tell you. The Us law is different but unless there is some pressing threat where you would need to know, the police do not have to tell you who stole it. This is to protect them and yourself from retribution.
