Why does the society needs many laws?

Best I can tell, so that politicians will always have some new platform on which to base getting votes in the next election.
we don't. we need less of them. every law we get , we lose freedom. even when it appears to be a good law. they find some loop hole in it / mis use it. we give up small increments of freedom with each law. of course, they always package to us and tell us it is for our own good. it's a crock. they do not care about our own good. they care about their own good.
The only laws we should ever need are the ten commandments...the reason we have as many as we do is to address all the particulars and minutia of peripheral crimes that have their origin in violating natural law through the years. We are a litigous society ever vigilant of ways to skirt established law, therefore more laws are conjured to combat this neverending version of criminal "whack-a-mole"
I understand your Q !! Why so many laws?? All I have to say is What would happen if the big G came home and what would every one have to worry about ?? would it be looks, clothes, lifestyle, who you put in jail ?? Or who did what to one another Or who did or said something to one another, Or who talked about one another in the work place or job site ?? ?? ,who you thought was in the news or making them lots of money ?? Or would it be Just you ? What did life do for you Why are there so many laws just so we can all pay taxes and pay the gov. What will happen then there is war?? Who will care? When we all look out for our selves ?? Will there be law then ?? There are only man made laws !! But untill that happens I guess we shall have to follow the law !
Crazy folks, that believe that their law is the law.
So laws are to protect other laws, were invented.
Just think, some folks would have us reading their bible.
Listening to their music.
Wearing their ugly clothes etc.
