If I type my own will and testament, have it notarized...is it legal...anything else I have to do?
Answers:
I don't think that it is 100% legal.
There are forms that you can buy like from Office Depot, Office Max.
Really, your better off consulting an attorney on it.
I wouldn't want to take a chance after I died that my will was not legal.
Make sure you file a notarized copy of it with Probate Court and keep a copy for yourself with a note that the original is with the Court. You might also want to give a copy to whoever you list as the executor so they will have a copy, too.
If there are any problems with what you have done, Probate can let you know so you can correct them. You might even want to talk with them first for guidance.
An hour's time in a lawyer's office is time/money well invested.
