Please please help me?
I am absolutely mortified and really upset. I opened an ebay account to sell my laptop. everything was going fine until i got an email from a guy who was wanting to buy the laptop outwith the bid, for £100, before i got the chance to reply, (i was at work) the guy had deposited the money into my paypal account. what i didnt know was that my bf had accepted the money and still let the bid go on, if i had known about this i would have refused, now i feel sick. I dont know what to do, whilst i was at work yesterday my bf spent the money. the best of it is, its all in my name, the last thing i want to do is turn him in, but i feel he's left me no choice and now my name is mud. advice please?

i'd do more than turn him in, and it would start w/ a baseball bat, ta the ribs..wheres he get off, getting in your business, and spending your money...But your not to smart either....how did he get your pas-word?.....either way.dump his @ss..
The money needs to be returned and your boyfriend dealt with post haste.
I agree - it was your auction so it's your reputation. You need to explain to the buyer that your bf had no right, return the money and let him bid like everyone else. You might get negative feedback from this particular bidder but you can explain in your feedback what happened so when others are reading, they'll know it wasn't your fault.
Well I would turn him in and send him away for good. If he is stealing he doesn't have the character you are looking for. He'll probably get you into something you don't want to be involved in.
And you say he's a friend. With friends like that who needs enemies? Surely you can do much better. Tell this creep he's going to be facing felony charges if he doesn't make things right immediately!
Turn him in NOW, he will do it again. But you are out the money.
