I'm in a class action suit against WWASP behavioral modification schools. Question about class action suits
Hi, I was in a WWASP program for 9 months and just recently joined a class action suit against them. The suit is for abuse, neglect, false imprisonment, using lack of food, sleep, and going to the bathroom as punishment. I believe they also violated those rico laws. Anyhow, just joined a class action suit of 100 - 150 people I think. I believe they are asking 100 - 150 million. I was wondering how long this stuff generally take to work itself out? Months? Years? Decades? Also, I was wondering what the procedure was as far as how often they go to court, how long it takes, what happens, etc?

A higher profile case (and the WWASP cases are higher profile) move along quicker than some others. Often because of the amount of money involved, the number of people, lawyers, and the time it consumes.
It can (and often will) take a couple years (like the Walmart pay raise prosecution did) but certainly not decades. It could also move along fairly quickly, as there is overwhelming evidence in the case against the WWASP schools, it may only last 6-9 months.
A long time (could be as much as 10 yrs or so). People generally jump on the band wagon once they hear of a suit like this. Even though it may have no merit.
