Politicians are the only profession that are not held ACCOUNTABLE for their decisions, WHY, please be honest?
You make decisions as a Quango, Group, Individual or through Parliment which will have far reaching consequences yet never ONCE have we seen a politican taken to task when that decision has been shown to be wrong perhaps many years later. After all ,Doctors are held accountable well after the event so WHY NOT Politicians?- Decisions are often taken without any heed to the people most affected but are deemed to be politically expedient at the time. Just be honest and answer OK!

The reason that they are not held accountable is because they are making a decision for a group of people. So the only people you can hold accountable for a politicians decisions are the people who voted him in.
Many people will say the voters can not do anything about politicians and that money talks. Only partially true. Money can only buy so many votes.
Have you looked in the news lately? Politicians are not the only ones who get away with murder. Doctors, drunk drivers, celebrities, etc. tend to get more easier rulings in court. Did you forget about Paris Hilton? Money talks BS walks.
Who do you think makes the rules concerning holding people accountable for their actinos? IOW, who is writing the laws? The politicians!
