What age can a girl get charged for sexual abuse?
my daughter got sexually abused at the age of 7 by another girl and got awaywith it the law states she didnt know what she was doing but yet she assaulted 3 others before my daughter so what age can she get prossecuted my daughter is now 12 and she has ha to live with it with no help at all.

Even young girls can get in trouble if they do things like that. Like reform school but the girl will probably need to be age 13-14+ to get in more serious trouble.

i think over 18 but if the persons still over 13 u could get them on like a misconduct or something
She lived through the five years after so I would just take her to counseling to make sure there is isn't any mental damage there. If the girl is a minor, she might go to juvy or something. Sorry, I can't give you any clear answer on the legal side of it as I am not a lawyer :/

Usually it is around age 10 people can be prosecuted, for sex crimes specifically I don't know, but I'd assume it is the same, as stupid as that sounds. I sure as heck know when I was 7 I knew what the results of my actions would be, I think "not knowing" is one of the lamest excuses in the lawbooks.
you should be able to get her help you dont need a prosicution for the victim to get help speak with your gp to find a good counciler for her xx

try to contact those other 3 girls and see if they will agree to say what happend.
if they don't want to then you might want to talk to a lawyer and get some free advice on what to do. but talk to the lawyer before approaching those 3 other girls to see if the lawyer thinks is a good idea.
i am sorry for your daughter and i hope you get some justice served! well that other person can probably get prosecuted already since she is a teenager. she will probably be put in juvenile school or something maybe a small fine i don't know i am no lawyer. but hope my ideas help. these days its not fair how the laws and authority figures can be sometimes.
in the meantime just help her get through this. sexual abuse, harrasment etc is something hard to get over. even when they become adults it will be hard for them to be touched by their lover when they get married because that thought will never leave her.
so see a councelor to help her get through it so she can live better and not have that memory haunt her.

You don't say how old the offender was. I have never heard of a small girl being sexually abused by another small girl. Is it possible your definition of sexual abuse differs from the legal definition? The help you are seeking would be impossible to find because you would have difficulty convincing anybody in authority that a small girl was even capable of sexual abuse against another small girl.
What did she do to her, there isnt much. Not trying to downplay it, but seriously. Besides oral , they would have just rubbed holes. I`d wonder who the older girl was that showed the offending girl that. And if you find out, could you have her call me?
in the UK the age for criminal responsiblity is 10 years for boys and girls.but the CPS have to be convinced that the offender knew what they had done was wrong in the first place. if the offender did not or was not aware it was wrong to commit the offence no further action will be taken through the courts.
But they can refer the case to social services for action .
You didnt say how old the other girl was.If she was the same age as your daughter it could be interpreted as two children finding out what they had
age of criminal responsibility in UK is 10 but until they are 14 they are classed as juvenile and unless it can be proven they knew they were doing something wrong the laughable justice system here lets them off. If on other hand you were to take law into your own hands and kick the *** of this girl you would get 10 years for it
