Have you ever been handed down a guilty verdict, when you were indeed innocent? What happened?

Answers:
Yes, for an underage alcohol charge in college. I had a corrupt judge. I appealed and the conviction was overturned. And the judge got kicked out of office in the next election. I had to serve the sentence before the appeal was finished, though. I wrote the governor (in Indiana) trying to get him to pardon me so I wouldn't have to wait for the appeal, and the governor's employee who was in charge of pardons called back and said he didn't care if I was innocent, he still wasn't going to pardon me. Jerk.
