I Recieved A Blank Check From A Friend Can I Get In Trouble For Putting Any Amount On It?

Answers:
Only if your friend cares.

I dunno, but if it's not too great of a friend... just don't go overboard :-)
What were the intentions for the check? Was it signed? She would most likely be the one to get into financial trouble if you put her account into the negative.
I guess the person wants you to have any amount of money that you want LOL. Seriously I think that you should ask your friend what amount of money that they want you to write a check out for. That way you can't overdraw their account.
I would make sure of the amount your friend wants you to put on it. Both could get into trouble if it bounces. Do the right thing.
Yes. It would be theft if you put more on then check then you are entitled to. Blank check is stupid on his part since the money could be stolen as you talk about, but is probably trusting since you say you are "friends." Also note this will be a FEDERAL crime since checks clear via the Federal Reserve system in the US. If more then just a "few" dollars (ie 10 lets says) it will also probably be a FELONY.
If you have recieved a signed, blank check, then any amount you write on there is the responsibility of the signer to pay. They put their signature on it. They should have filled in the rest. After your friend admits in a court of law that they sent you a signed blank check, the case will be thrown out, if your friend decides to try and take you to court, and they can find an attourny dumb enough to take the case.
