Is it ethical for a merchant to enter a chatroom of its competitor and pose queries under another name?

What do u think?

Answers:
Depends on what the questions are. Asking for information that any other member of the public could get is kind of questionable but OK. Asking loaded questions like ,"Why are you not as good as xxxx?" would be slimy.

depends on who you ask...the merchant or the competitor
