Waiting for the hiring freeze to be lifting for a federal job?

Have anyone experienced this, I went through the whole hiring process, and just when I thought I would be hired, I was told that the budget hasn't came through. I've been patiently waiting for a new hiring date.

summer is a terrible time for Gov't hire.. Vacation time for most.. The budget for the gov''t is viewed Oct-Feb. So, as you see, you only have march-sept. to get in, and maintain good behavior for 1 year... Keep your head Hi,,, If it is meant-it will happen. Faith

Try a different agency within the Government. I'm in the Midwest and many Federal agencies are hiring use this website www.usajobs.gov
