Can you motion for mediation in a restraining order hearing?

My boyfriend's mom has made him take a restraining order against me! I feel she did it, because she don't want us to be together, we were already in the mist of an argument, and she used that anger to pit him against me. So I wanna know can I ask the judge for mediation, because I feel if me and him was to talk one on one...we could work it out!

Answers:
Mediation can be made before, during and even after the hearing as long as it is beneficial to the parties and not against the law.

You need to check your state's law. Sometimes there is no mediation if it is considered a domestic violence case.
