The old saying is, "anyone who represent themselves in a court case has a fool for a lawyer", I would never go to court without legal counsel. You can find a lot of lawyers who will do it pro-bono, and you pay only if you win. Besides, the other side will probably offer you a lot less then what they would if you had a lawyer representing you.

Well, you would get a lot less money offered to you, if any, if you tried w/o an attorney.

That is, if you were even able to successfully able to file a complaint stating a proper claim and properly serve the defendants in accordance with your state's statutes.

If you go to court, would you know the proper rules of evidence codes and procedure?

There's a reason they say "only a fool represents himself in court" and why law school is so tough.
Well, I attempted to keep reading, but, much to my dismay, I soon encountered an incomprehensible string of nonsense.
Get an experienced attorney. It'll pay off in the long run.

The attorney will understand the strengths and weaknesses of your claim, and will have negotiated with the insurance company claims adjusters before.

If you go it alone, the insurance carrier will take advantage of everything you don't know (law and fact).
I echo what was said above, but only add that the saying, "anyone who represent themselves in a court case has a fool for a client" was aimed at attys who represent themselves. B/c even a laywer who repesents himself is making a big mistake.

Pro-se motions are often used as humor material for attys.
