What do you think is fair and what I should do?

I have a situation at work there is a manager that I think is threatened by me and is always targeting me and trying to pick at everything I do! A customer that I know came into our store and I spoke to them for 10 minutes then got called into the office by this manager for a hearing and she claimed I shouldn't get paid for those 10 minutes but... I work untill 8pm and I always have to say 15min - 30min everyday I work to finish things off but I don't get paid for that and that accumulates into hours then not only that but a week ago the same manager stood for half an hour on the internet showing everyone her wedding dress for the wedding she is planning shoudl she get paid then? I am very upset about this and its causing trouble in my marriage but dont want her to get to me and quite or she thinks she won does anyone have some advice on what I can do please Im desperate and I think its so unfair that they wont pay me for the time I have to stay after work either and now this! thnx

Contact the senior management team or HR - if you need some offline advice contact me directly. Done this and been there so happy to help.

go over her head to whoever owns the store or see your local employment office for advice..
Your state has laws for this...
Explain to your boss that you will need to be paid for the time she is forcing you to work off the clock. If she does not pay you, explain that you may need to sue. Of course there is a good chance that after this she may try to fire you. If she doesn't have a good reason you would have a good lawsuit. Then again... maybe you shouldnt talk to customers for so long. Who knows.
If they don't want to pay you, don't work for them. For goodness sakes, it's just a job, not indentured servitude. Go find another job, ultimately she'll feel like a b!tch for chasing off a good employee.
You have a loser for a manager, and a loser for an employer. Begin looking for a better job! As for her 'winning', she wont. She will still be the hypocrite that she is now, but with one less good employee to carry her lousy ***.
First things first. Do you work with anyone else who collaborates these same feelings? Assuming that you don't then you need to re evaluate. By the sounds of your description, you work in some sort of retail environment. If this is the case, get a new job.
Assuming that others collaborate your story you need to go over her head. Every "manager" has a boss that they report to. Do some research find out these incidents and begin to document as they occur. This will not be a problem that fixes itself overnight but if you have enough examples that can demonstrate a pattern of behavior you go to someone above her.
contact EEOC they have laws that say you have to be paid for time worked and retalation laws equal employment opportunity commision its a goverment agency so doesn't matter what state you live in harassment is illegal
Is it just you this manager picks on? Maybe she's just a bully try standing up to her a bit more ask her what her problem is straight out. If she docks your wages write down the overtime you do and give it to her. Sounds like she was making a show that she could also get married with the wedding dress thing. Is she jealous or does she think you look down on her? Try to make her feel she's wonderful and a role model or something.
Hi - It's time to be moving on. They will continue to treat you this way. Why should your health and relationship suffer because of these jerks. Find yourself another job, work shouldn't have to be this miserable.
find another job then go in give her a good slapping and hand in your notice , or let the air out of her tyres. send anominous letter to her that her fiance is cheating on her! shes just on a power trip wot a cow!!!!!!!
Make a formal complaint , concerning your manager

As for staying after work , without pay , forget it , bring the matter up , but do it nicely , as I doubt they know this goes on

good luck

ps Most of my customers , become freinds , some even buy be tea and cakes
You have "stolen" time from the company and I wouldn't pay you if you stood chatting to a friend for 10 mins. equally if your Contract of Employment states your hours and you are forced to work over those hours consult your local Job Centre for advice.
You should be under no obligation at all to work unpaid hours. Tell your employers that unless you are paid for these hours you will stop doing them and leave at your contracted finishing time. If they still refuse take them to court for constructive dismissal.
