How soon before Bush is FORCED to "lawyer up" because of the federal prosecutor scandal ?
I'm not talking about White House Counsel Fred Fielding, but a "keeping you *** out of jail" lawyer.

That's a fun question. I've actually given it some thought. He has approved "Crimes against Humanity" among his trail of unbelievable mistakes. Isn't that what Saddam got hung for? They had to pull Him out of a hole in the ground. As much as I detest ol' Dub...live by the sword, die by the sword and all that. The position he has put the presidency is outrageous. They both need to get out of office asap and hope Nancy is dumb enough to pardon them.Don't do it Girl!

Never. Look at Klinton, he perjured himself, was impeached and yet, no criminal charges were ever brought. Libby was guilty as much as Klinton was, but he didn't get off nearly as lucky, did he?
He's going to have to lawyer up over that one not long before he will for his "broader survellance program."

That's what he's been doing since the scandal broke -- hiding behind executive privilege, since he has no other legal privilege he can even try to hide behind.

The President firing people who serve strictly at the pleasure of the President is not a crime. It's only a scandal because Congress wants to distract you from the fact that they've basically only passed two pieces of legislation, one being their own pay raise.
Clinton fired over 100 federal prosecutors and it wasn't a scandal then, so why is it now? Because the people in congress want to distract the public from the fact they aren't doing anything.
Never, because no laws were broken.
Even the Dem's admit this.
The President has the authority to replace any prosecutor at any time, for any reason.
Why Bush just doesn't come out and say, the Prosecutor's were not carrying out the agenda I wanted them to, and I replaced them.
That would solve the entire issue.
Thats why every President replaces alomost all the Prosecutors after they are elected.
