My previous job is refusing to pay me!?

I use to work as a Caseworker for foster care in Virginia. I found a new job and my previous supervisor asked me to stay with the company pt. She said I could work after hours and on weekends. Two weeks ago was the beginning of the pt position. So I went into the office last week and worked a few hrs and filled out my timesheet before I went out of town. So later on that week the Administrative Assistant called and said that my supervisor said she wasn't gonna sign off on my timesheet, she didn't get a schedule of when I was going to work. She claimed she didn't know when I worked; however when I went into the office I spoke to her to let her know I was there. She said that I don't know what I should do now. I've had so many problems out of them since beginning the job. I just need to know what to do to get all my money.

Try going to her supervisor and discussing the problem.
you do not want to let this slide at all! did anyone see you there working besides the supervision who claims she did not know you were working? if so, talk to them. tell the supervisor you need to get paid for the hours you put in, and if you do not you could sue them with no problem. you just need witnesses that you actually did work those hours, otherwise its just your word against hers. keep fighting it! make sure you get paid what you deserve!!
