They seem to be a rogue organization with their own personal agenda in mind.
I think they protect rights if it goes along with their liberal agenda.

I think ACLU is politically biased and doesn't fight for Civil Liberties at all.
The ACLU tramples on the rights of everyone that it goes against while all the while claiming to uphold civil liberties. That organization has turned into the biggest lobbyist bully in America today and should be disbanded.
The ACLU doesn't pick which laws exist.
If some city or state violates the law, then the law is being violated, and the ACLU sues to see the law enforced.
There are almost no situations where two people have equal but opposing rights under the law. Usually, one person has rights, and the govt is infringing on those rights.
The ACLU only ever gets involved in the latter case, and only where there is govt infringment of constitutional mandates.

They don't protect the rights of the average American. They go after the crazy causes.
For example, why did they fight millions of voters and try to take away a large cross at a "War memorial?" Over 85% of the voters wanted it!
It wasn't hurting anybody and it wasn't just Christians that wanted it to stay. One of the biggest supporters is Jewish!
The ACLU cost the city of San Diego millions!
Positive discrimination is still discrimination.

I believe that the ACLU (what I call the Anti Chrisian Lawyers Union) HATES Christianity and they enjoy destroying All The Christain Foundations the United States of America was founded on.
The ACLU champions unpopular causes that no one else stands up for. For that reason, many people who have no clue about what the ACLU actually does or stands for are nonetheless wilIing to criticize it based on what they hear on Fox News.
