If Mitt Rodmney had so much support why did he have to bus them all in?

I was at the iowa straw poll and all of Mitt's support came from buses that he paid for while Ron Paul's support was all genuine. I feel his campain is really ready to explode. If he had real support they would have came on there own like the Ron paul support
