My sister is pregnant and her work is giving her problems?

My sister works, and she just told her her boss shes pregnant, her mananger congratulated her and told her what not to do and what she can do. Well my sisters supervisor she didnt like the fact of her being pregnant, her supervisor now puts her to do more work, and my sister says she is always in a bad mood, and everything. Being pregnant how early can she leave work?(for maternity relief) and if she refuse to do it can she get fired? (by the way she has a doctors note given to them)

Pregnancy is a condition not a disease. If the doctor has asked that she be put on light duty then the supervisor should help her along if possible. Many of your sisters problems may be emotional on her part and she may be seeing conditions that are not really there. It all depends on what the doctors note said.
Sounds to me like she thinks she should get special treatment because she is pregnant. If she "just told her boss" then she is not that pregnant and should be able to do the same work she was doing before she got pregnant. If she can't do the work then she needs to quit and find a job at toys-r-us or something. If she can't handle being pregnant then she needs to stop getting pregnant. Cold hearted maybe but true. If she was your maid and she could not do the work for 9 months would still pay her, I think not.
