What are the laws of taking a break during work in Texas?

I work 4-5 hours a day and not allowed a break.

Answers:
Neither Texas nor federal labor laws require that you get a break. http://www.twc.state.tx.us/ui/lablaw/pay...

I've worked in Texas for 28 years for 8 to 10 hours a day. We only get a lunch break.

If you are only working 4 to 5 hours, you may need to change your attitude about what working at a job is all about!!

Most places give you a lunch break, but that's about it. Where do you people get these notions anyway?
