Personally it's made me concerned about the future of this country. I believe we are heading in the direction of a police state living in fear. The thing that bothers me the most is the powers that it gives our current president (suspending elections in the time of an emergency) who has shown he is not fit for such power.
That's one of the major problems is that little is known of how it is being used to track both terrorists and innocent Americans. The Act's hastily passed provisions not only violate the free expression and privacy rights of those using public libraries and bookstores; they also sweep aside constitutional checks and balances by authorizing intelligence agencies to gather information in situations that may be completely unconnected to a potential criminal proceeding.

for me personally...a ridiculous amount of paperwork that is just duplicated by other agencies
This is a true case that the end justifies the means.
Hasn't hurt me a bit though.
