Is it an impeachable offense for Congresspeople to lie--saying U.S. citizens WANT this amnesty bill?
As Y!A people know from responses to their questions, most U.S. citizens do not want amnesty.
Since Congress is holding hearings, shall we email and phone several times every day to let them know how we REALLY feel?

At least on Iraq we were divided. On this issue America is united-- no one wants it.
Nope or Bush would be impeached for that whole Iraq thing. Unfortunately, our politicians are the masters and we are the slaves.
No but it should be. Congress has no interest in what Americans want or need. Democrats were elected to end the occupation of Iraq. That was the voice of the people. Congress is courupted.. The President and Congress only care about what the Corporations want and need. It's about cash.
I agree with you but unfortunately you probably cannot impeach a congress person. They were voted in unfortunately! What you need to do is email letters to your Senator and get all your friends and neighbors to do this also. Your Senator will go to congress and speak his views of his State at least this is what is supposed to happen, sometimes I wonder? I have send letters to my Senator about this issue and I totally agree with you. You can also try calling or emailing congress.
We the people can not impeach anyone.
He or she is guilty of a misinformed opinion. I wouldn't say lying. But if we threw on politicians who lied in the pokie we'd have no government.
