How do american bosses treat pregnant woman?

I need help from Americans. I have very nice job in International company located east Europe .Next month this company will become part of American company. We will get new american owner and top manager. I am 24 weeks right now and little scared becase my pregnancy is visible and I dont know if they will sign contract for next year with me. I also would like to know American law connected with pregnancy and job. Please only serious answers. Thank you.

Answers:
From my experience, employers are EXTREMELY careful of their pregnant employees. It might be hard to get a promotion, but they will make a lot of concessions for your pregnancy. Its important to communicate your needs, of course, but they are so afraid of being sued that they will usually take good care of you.

Good luck, an American boss residing outside of the U.S. means that the laws here do not apply and he is free to do what ever he wants. Good luck.
