Credit card companies harrassing me! what do i do!?
These bogus credit card companies will not stop calling my house trying to sell me crap, its getting very annoying and i even told them to stop calling and they hung up on me! how can i prevent this or how can i stop it??

Put yourself on the do not call list. Or the block list.
Then they cant.
call the cops and theyll report the number for you. if youre in the state you can put yourself on the national "do not call" list. a quick search should yeild the number and website needed to apply
Get on the do not call list. Tell them to stop calling you, keep track of when they call you, and when you told them to stop. If it continues, you can sue (atleast in California you can). Contact the PUC if it continues...
You can sign up on the do not call registry, Also when they call you demand that you speak to a supervisor and state that you demand to be placed on the DO NOT CALL LIST within there company, they have to add your information to there internal registry or you can state that you are going to press charges/

Like already mentioned get yourself on the Do not Call List. If after 30 days being on the list you still recieve those calls you can report the number to the FCC, just make sure you get the company's name, and if possible the person you spoke to. While its not a gurantee, this would help give you legal grounds against these telemarket callers.

Ask them to hang on for one second, and say you need to turn off the stove (or some excuse) then put the phone down and leave it there.
They will get tired of holding after a while.
Or if your up to it, have them explain thier whole pitch and ask tons of questions that make it seem like your interested in what they are selling.
Keep the questions coming. Then after like 15 minutes, say, na, I changed my mind.
Register with the Do-Not-Call list.
1) put yourself on the federal Do not call list.
2) next time you answer the phone and it is one of them ASK to be taken off their call list. ASK whose list they are using and do it repeatedly.
If you follow 1 and 2 the calls should stop in 3-4 weeks. If not it is usually because you gave your phone # out and you must do #2 all over again..
