Which kind of a lawyer do I need to hire?
I quit my job yesterday at a major auto dealer and come to find out today, one of the women who works in HR called ahead to some places that I may be applying and gave the person who accepts apps. my description and told them that I assaulted a customer (not true) and her which I wouldve loved to (but again not true). She purposefully called to prospective employers and blackballed me. What do I do?

First - Can you prove it?
Second - Has this caused you to be rejected for a job?
If no to either, I expect you won't get much of anywhere.
Call the employment department in your state, they can't do that. If they are contacted by someone who you have applied to work for, the only information they are allowed to provide is the dates you worked for them.
