Anyone knows nj's repossession laws?
Can a repo man go into your garage to repo a vehicle in nj. The guy walked in my garage (door was open) and got in the vehicle and drove it out of the garage before we came out and stopped him in our driveway.

if you haven't paid your bills, the repo man can take your car. Period, next time pay your bills rather than searching for a technicality about him comming in the garage.
A repo man can not enter a building if it is closed. However if he did not have to physically open a door and could still get into the vehicle then unfortunately, yes he was within the law. Sorry.
