A family member had just gone robbed at metrotown today along with bank cards and other important items. What should they do? Note- they reported it to the police..

This just happened to me a couple weeks ago. Some people really suck! But you have to contact the credit companies, not only cancel your credit cards, but call Experion, Trans Union, and I forget the third, but anyone of them can put an alert on their credit for all 3 companies. They cant get a new social security card, I tried that. Get a new driver's licence, and let them know there's was stolen, and they put an alert on that too. The most important thing to do right away, is cancel credit cards, and alert the credit bureaus. That is one of the worst feelings to have that happen. Its such a violation. Good luck to them.
cancel the cards ASAP
well cancel their credit cards and that's all they can do.
cancel all bank and credit cards.
cancel all cards and notify the bannk.
They need to talk to their bank about insurance
The police should be on it soon. If they don't, tell someone else.
cancel all the credit cards etc. Report to the bank etc that it's been stolen. For the other items, it's not very likely to be able to find them unless it turns up at the police station.
cry-and be more careful in future-on the plane-a man stole some ones wallet-but they kept doors shut-till he owned up-and got arrested- how bad is that?.take care.x
Call the issuer of every credit card and report the theft.
Like they will ever be cought...
Gee,,, did they report their cards stolen. They would be the first thing anyone should do....
They need to call all the credit cards companies and cancel them asap. Also cancel all debt cards. Then they will need to get another drivers license. Might not be a bad idea to be extra careful when they are going in and out of their house for the next month or so since they now know where they live.
Cancel all credit cards and have your accounts frozen.
cancel all the cards in your family members possesion, keep in contact with the police, and try and track to see where the person last used the cards before you cancelled them.
