Yes. You also have to post the notice of commencement in addition to the permits. Check Chapters 163 and 713, Florida Statutes and the Broward County Code of Ordinances.

There should be a post and box on the property before construction or even clearing of the lot, that includes the required permits for the job. There will also be a copy of the plans.
