What are the ramifications of agravated assult with intent to commit a felony?

911 call was recorded with threats in the background and also charged with battery with doing harm. The victim has dropped charges. Will this person do jail time? Charges are; aggravated assult with attempt to commit a feloney and demestic battery with bodily harm.
